Multiple Eouble Eyelids Corrected by Lifting the Eyelids

This middle-aged woman was bothered by her multiple skin creases in the upper eyelids and asked for Asian blepharoplasty (double eyelid surgery). However, examination revealed the underlying cause was droopy eyelids (ptosis) and Asian blepharoplasty will only create unnaturally high skin creases (double eyelids) and sleepy look. Instead bilateral posterior approach ptosis correction was performed. At two weeks follow-up (bottom picture) the multiple skin creases not only disappeared by the eyes also appeared more alert.
